    In Memoriam. Again, dammit.

    God of the afflicted, comforter of those who mourn;

    Take up the spirit of Brad Sevetson into your heart tonight, and grant him the joy of reconciliation with You, the Creator of All.

    Grant Betsy and their children the knowledge of your boundless love, and comfort them in their hour of grief.  Be their rock, to whom they can cling when all else seems lost.  Grant them timely healing of this heart-wound, and clear memory of the blessing of Brad’s love for them and the wonder of the times they spent together.

    In the name of your Son, our Savior, we ask this of you.

    I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I know it is late to leave this message, but I just got my Wash U alum magazine, and saw the notice of Brad's death in it. I knew Brad when I was in graduate school, though we hadn't been in touch recently. I remember him as a wonderful, fun, interesting person, and was very saddened to hear the news.
